      Material:
      • Tubular steel chaise frame in polished chrome

      • Base in fleet and tubular steel with black epoxy finish

      • Headrest inside with a cotton bag filled with a mix of goose feather and foam

      • Upholstery in leather, Pony and Linen Mixed

      • Head rest got always the same leather color like the lounger. In Pony is the headrest in black, Pony plus 70 EUR.

      Dimensions:
      width 160 cm, depth 56 cm, height 73 cm


      Base:
      We recommend the Bauhaus Base, it has a 80 mm thick oval tube and the support tube has a flange with multiplex screw connection for the two cross tubes. You can see it on the left side of the photo.
      The headrest is with feathers.

      The standard version is simpler and the oval tube is only 60 mm wide. The support tube only got a through-bolt. You can see it on the right side of the photo.
      The headrest is w/o feathers.

      History:
      The LC4 Chaise Longue is the most famous furniture design by Le Corbusier. He called the longue "dormant machine".
       
      It is noteworthy that the rest position can be adjusted without mechanism. The force of gravity holds the LC4 Chaise Longue easily in position.

      Le Corbusier

      Le Corbusier (1887 – 1965), eigentlich Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, war ein Architekt, Maler, Zeichner, Stadtplaner, Bildhauer und Möbeldesigner schweizerisch-französischer Abstammung.

      Zu seinen bekanntesten Werken im Bereich Möbeldesign gelten der Stuhl Basculant LC1, der Sessel LC2, das Sofa LC3, der Chaise longue LC4, das Sofa LC5, der Esstisch LC6 und der Drehstuhl LC7.

      Er gilt als einer der bedeutendsten Architekten und Designer des 20. Jahrhunderts. Das Pseudonym Le Corbusier entstand in Anlehnung an seinen Urgroßvater und seinen Lehrmeister Charles l'Eplattenier.
